When asked how a pastor can provide the basic needs of the church today Pastor Bruce responded,

I believe the most basic need of all people of faith is to have someone to help them live out the faith as God has given them ability. The pastor does this through preaching on the scriptures. This should open them for all to see that God has always worked with and through ordinary people to bring love into the world. As we hear the scriptures interpreted for today, it is my hope that we can find our part in God's plan of love for all people and give our lives to God's plan.
